After an illustrious 44-year career in the construction consultancy industry, including over 37 years with RLB, Peter Knowles, Executive Vice President of our North American practice, has announced his retirement.
Peter joined RLB in 1987 and has since been a cornerstone of our firm’s success. A Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Peter has made significant contributions to some of the most complex and high-profile projects across the United States, Asia, and Europe. His expertise spans healthcare, sports facilities, aviation, commercial, educational, and public assembly projects, where his leadership in construction cost and time management has been unparalleled.
Peter has been an integral part of our North American practice. He’s spent the last several years representing RLB North America on our global board and launched and led our America’s Alliance – ultimately expanding our network to Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico City.
Peter’s dedication to his craft, his mentorship, and his leadership have left an enduring legacy at RLB. His work has helped shape not only our firm but also the industry as a whole.
As Peter steps into retirement, we thank him for his extraordinary contributions and wish him every happiness in the next chapter of his journey.
