From the initial bid to the grand opening, RLB has overseen the budget at every stage. Our involvement began in 2014 when we joined a pioneering project team united by a bold ambition: to transform Brisbane’s skyline, challenge architectural conventions, create new connections between two riverbanks, redefine sustainable building practices and offer experiences that reflect the city’s subtropical climate.

RLB arguably boasts the world’s largest construction cost database, but gathering data is only part of the equation. Where a city’s past meets its future
The Sky Deck is an engineering marvel, with 500 tonnes of suspended steel that soars 100 metres over William Street and spans four towers like a ship in the sky.
Historic charm is preserved in nine repurposed heritage buildings, while a new pedestrian bridge connects the two banks of the Brisbane River and honours Indigenous leader Senator Neville Bonner.
