Maximizing budgets for office-fit out projects

Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) has experienced significant growth and advances in its banking and investment services across the Toronto area.

Large-scale construction projects to its data centers and offices in the downtown Toronto core were required for future planning and capabilities. This forward-thinking approach lead to the Bank retaining RLB to control the construction costs of these vital projects.
The data center upgrades focused on the electrical requirements for higher loads, uninterruptible power source (UPS) upgrades and higher site security, while the office interior works focused on efficiency of workspaces with an aesthetically pleasing and modern atmosphere for employees and visitors.
RLB provided design stage cost estimates through the various design milestones for these projects. Construction stage progress draw review and cost monitoring services were also provided for the interior office fit-out projects.
