Nairobi

Known as one of the top 30 most populated countries in the world, Kenya boasts the largest economy in eastern and central Africa.

Agriculture is the largest sector in the country with tourism proving to be a major driver of the economy.

Nairobi is the capital of Kenya and also the largest city in the country. The name of the city hails from a Maasai (a Nilotic ethnic group inhabiting parts of Kenya) phrase ‘Enkare Nairobi’ which translates to ‘cool water’, referring to the Nairobi river. Nairobi is often referred to as ‘Kenya’s beating heart’ and is a bustling concrete jungle, thriving as a modern capital.

RLB’s involvement on projects in this country is vastly improving with local representation in the capital city. This office is the newest addition to RLB’s Africa footprint.
