Stellenbosch

With a rapidly expanding portfolio of work in the Western Cape since the establishment of our Cape Town office in 2013, the second RLB office was opened in this province in the beautiful, historic town of Stellenbosch in July 2017.

Stellenbosch is situated 50 km east of Cape Town and is the second oldest European settlement in the province after Cape Town. It has its own municipality, incorporating the neighbouring towns of Pniel and Franschhoek.

The area is a major winegrowing region in South Africa and at the forefront of viticulture research. Stellenbosch is also famous for having one of the country’s leading universities with a rich history dating back to 1863.

Land infrastructure and residential developments are prevalent in this town as a result of the significant population growth over the past few years, mostly ascribable to the influx of incomers and students.

RLB has played a key role in a wide variety of projects throughout the Western Cape, with the Stellenbosch office focusing mostly on the residential sector, due to the high demand for housing.
