Garrison, Inc. and Rider Levett Bucknall join to Expand project management services, extend resources of firms
PHOENIX, AZ, 1 February 2012 – As of February 1, 2012, Chicago-based construction management firm Garrison, Inc. has joined property and construction consultancy Rider Levett Bucknall and is now doing business as RLB│Garrison. Combined, the firms can now provide clients with an even broader range of construction management; development and construction consulting; cost management; procurement, occupancy and transition planning; and construction claims advisory services.
“Garrison is a first-rate addition to Rider Levett Bucknall,” said Rider Levett Bucknall Americas President and Global Board Member, Julian Anderson, FRICS, FAACE, CCC. “With Garrison Inc. as part of our group, it strengthens our capabilities in program and project management in the healthcare and commercial sectors and provides Rider Levett Bucknall with a full-time base in Chicago – a market in which we have worked for almost 20 years.”
Garrison Inc. has provided Owner’s Representative and construction consulting services in the Chicago market beginning with a commission on the redevelopment of the 2 million square foot Prudential Plaza project in Chicago’s East Loop in 1985. Subsequent assignments expanded their offerings to include forensic consulting, medical equipment consultation, procurement and transition planning/occupancy services.
Other project experience includes serving as Owner’s Representative for a tenant development assignment with various base building responsibilities at Hyatt Center in Chicago and providing Owner’s Representative services for The Garlands at Barrington, a national award-winning continuing care retirement community project in Barrington, Illinois.
Currently Garrison is finalizing coordination for the procurement, delivery, installation, and budget management of all furniture, fixtures and equipment at the new Central DuPage Hospital Bed Tower and coordinating the relocation of Parkview Health’s existing hospital to its new 975,00 sq. ft. facility, Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN, opening March 17, 2012.
