World first - Instant cost data on the spot
The Rider Levett Bucknall Desktop app gives users a new platform to access on-the-spot cost data and analytics completely free of charge and on their PC – with the option to download to their Smartphone or tablet device for mobile use.
The information provided in the property industry’s construction cost bible, Riders Digest, will be available as just one component part of the app. Further features include global cost comparisons, inter-city and regional tender price indexation, worldwide construction market analysis and commentary, as well as an up-to-the-minute construction news section and a project gallery.
For selected regional locations, the app also features rental market and yields analysis, provided in partnership with leading global property analysts.
The Desktop app may be accessed by typing http://www.rlbintelligence.com into your browser, or by searching for ‘rlbintelligence’ via your search engine.
The Smartphone version may be downloaded free of charge from your Smartphone app store by typing RLB or Rider Levett Bucknall. It is now available on iPhone, Android, Windows Phone 7 and BlackBerry Operating Systems.

The app uses Rider Levett Bucknall’s regularly updated, location-specific cost data to provide a range of current expectedbuilding costs for specified building types. Data is available for all Rider Levett Bucknall global regions.
Tender Price Index (TPI) information compares modelled TPI figures along both location and time parameters, enabling the user to identify comparative price movements and trends between markets.
In partnership with global property consultants, the rents and yields tool allows the user to identify key development information, in the form of rent and yield data.
Location-specific analysis of general construction market conditions including construction activity across all sectors, pricemovements and forecasts is also provided.
Since its launch in May, more than 5,000 people have downloaded this unique application on the various mobile Smartphone platforms. With the advent of the new Desktop app, RLB has now successfully integrated with the existing Smartphone Apps, providing a trueone-stop-shop information and knowledge retrieval vehicle for use by construction industry participants both on-the-go and on-the-spot!
